WONDERFUL WILDLIFE

You can experience a wealth of wildlife on the Lizard Peninsula. We can virtually guarantee you sightings of buzzards, foxes, and toads. You may even be lucky enough to catch sight of a Greater Spotted Woodpecker.

The Chough, which features on Cornwall's Coat of Arms has nested and successfully reared three chicks this year on the Lizard Peninsula, after an absence of nearly thirty years.

For more established wildlife locations the Gweek Seal Sanctuary is only about 15 minutes drive.

Or for a more varied 'menu' head towards Hayle and Paradise Park which in addition to being the home of the World Parrot Trust features owls, birds of prey, otters, penguins, and a farm full of animals.
