THE CROWN INN
The Crown Inn has a spacious bar, dining areas, pool table,

There is a varied food menu where all tastes and budgets
are catered for. All food is cooked to order and locally sourced where
possible.
Our Ale changes regularly and is gravity poured straight
from the wood just as it should be, we have a selection of Draught Lagers,
Guinness, Rattler and Wines. We are a CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) recommended
Inn for both our Ales & Cider.
We are a community pub where conversation dominates. A
quiz is held every Tuesday evening, all are welcome. We pride ourselves
on our friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
We have been awarded the maximum 5 STARS for the national
EH Scheme (SCORES ON THE DOORS). We also have lots of games i.e. Scrabble,
Monopoly, Card Games, Chess etc and offer FREE Wi-Fi.
Our family owned and run Freehouse is a large old granite
building that was once a hunting lodge on the Trevarno estate and is thought
to be about 250 years old. It has been an Inn, at least, since the 1831
census and also the Tin Miners Pay office. Local folklore believes that
the Methodist John Wesley opened the attached former chapel, which still
retains its gothic arched front door.
